Greetings and Hello. My name is Joshua Brown, and I am the owner and creator of Core Custom Rings.

I spent many hours in my grandfather’s wood shop growing up.  He worked as a carpenter making beautiful cabinets and fine furniture.  I admired his dedication to the craft, hard work, and attention to detail.  It was in his memory that I began making rings. 

I started making wooden rings as a hobby in the fall of 2016.  After beginning with different types of wood, I expanded into materials like Carbon Fiber, Stainless Steel, Titanium, and Tungsten Carbide.  I have since started utilizing materials such as synthetic resin, acrylic, ceramic and antler in the creation of my rings.  Originally, I used natural materials like Turquoise and other semi-precious stones as inlay materials.  I have expanded to an even wider variety of natural and synthetic materials to inlay into the rings.  These materials range from precious and semi-precious stones, synthetically created Opal in a large variety of colors, and sand from different beaches around the word to meteorite, silver wire, gold leaf, color pigments and glow-in-the-dark powders of different colors. 

Because each of us is different and unique, I chose to focus on making my rings custom for each person.  Most every ring I’ve made is different from the one before.  Each one is made by hand and made to the specifications of the customer.  The rings on display are merely examples of what I can create.  I am very open to new ideas for different styles and designs for rings.  My hope is to work with each customer to create a ring that is unique to them and that they will wear with pride.   

I hope to continue to push the boundaries of what I can create.  I hope to soon be able to create rings that include laser engraved images, messages, and/or significant dates.
